Donna Shalala is looking forward to sharing her accomplishments and vision on the issues that matter most to South Florida.
Donna Shalala has accepted several invitations to debate her opponent in the election to represent the people of Florida’s 27th Congressional District.
“These debates will be an opportunity to talk about real solutions – not partisan talking points – and our respective records of getting things done for our community,” said Congresswoman Shalala. “I look forward to continuing that conversation with the voters, as I share my vision and my plans on how I will continue to lead in addressing this health crisis, getting our economy back on track, standing up to dictatorial regimes and fighting for South Florida.”
Donna Shalala is looking forward to sharing her experience, policies, and plans during the following debates:
- October 15: Actualidad Radio with Roberto Rodriguez Tejeda
- October 16: CBS 4 with Jim Defede
- October 22: Univision 23 with Ambrosio Hernandez
The Shalala For Congress campaign is asking the challenger Maria Elvira Salazar to accept all three debates. Agreeing to debate only in Spanish, as Salazar did in her last failed campaign, does a disservice to the community.
