Association’s political action committee supports Donna Shalala’s run for Congress due to her “commitment to the well-being of individuals, families, and communities.”
Miami, FL – The National Association of Social Workers-Political Action for Candidate Election, which represents nearly 120,000 professional social workers, has endorsed Donna Shalala for Congress.
“In order to advance our legislative priorities on behalf of social workers and the communities we serve, we are eager to work with experienced and committed individuals like Donna Shalala to address the critical issues,” says Mary Jane Lungren, NASW-PACE Chair.
“I am honored to receive the endorsement of the National Association of Social Workers-Political Action for Candidate Election,” Donna Shalala said. “We must support the most vulnerable members of our society, including our children and senior citizens, and fight for their protection through policy changes and implementation.”
